Master Cheif returns to a Covenant Dominated Earth on a mission to kill the final alien leader. Meanwhile, the Arbiter, Johnson, and Keyes form a loose alliance and escape from Delta Halo. The Covenant is ripped in civil war, and the Elites along with a handful of other alien races become sympathetic to the human cause. Delta Halo's impromptu dis-activation has brought all of the Halos to a "remote activation phase". They can be activated from a facility called the ark, which happens to be on Earth. Master Chief and the Arbiter must join together to attack the Covenant and destroy the Flood. Video games are a strange thing if you really get down to it. There are a-dozen-and-a-half different books and essays on why film gets the reactions out of us as viewers as it does but video games are a completely different beast all together, regardless of what some might think.

Halo is probably one of the best examples of a game that just can't be compared to a movie. It feels like it should though. It feels like it wouldn't be a problem to make the story of this game into a sci-fi film epic. but that's the thing though is that this story is impossible to be anything other than a game and still be this good. because the game needs you to stick with it.

In a film when the characters are going through their problems and when their suffering is at its worse you feel for them because you are a human and you feel empathy for the people you are watching. But in a video game its your fault they died. When a person dies in a film, lets say they are swallowed whole by a monster, you could have closed your eyes and blocked your ears and that man would still be a monster's lunch. but for a game you have to fight and work your way with the characters to the end. If you stopped after chapter 1 and simply said "I'm out" then the characters who die would live. But you have to see it through to the end, side by side with the virtual person you are controlling.

That is what makes this game fantastic. You are the one who suffers, because you are Master Chief.

It also helps that this game's music is phenomenal, that the story is epic, and that the gameplay is perfected to the point of removing any buffer between you and the armored man on screen.

Perhaps most surprising about the quality is that this was a game meant to sell consoles and in the end it did that through quality rather than by simply making a quick and disappointing conclusion to this sci-fi epic.

I won't spoil the campaign here, but I would absolutely recommend buying this game and seeing just how strong a video game can stand up as art while still retaining the fun of the games. Not quite the epic ending do an amazing trilogy. I'm not gonna lie and say it was amazing and the best yet just because I was waiting for it for so long and a lot of other people like it.

Let me first start out by saying I am a long-time Halo fan. I really love these games. I believe that Halo, Combat Evolved had the best storyline and Halo 2 had best online/ multi-player. When I heard Halo 3 was coming out, I was so excited. I bought it that weekend it came out and went home and beat it in a day.

A day. For those of you who don't know me, I am an extremely slow gamer. I found out very quickly that this is the shortest halo game. I thought the last should be the longest! It's a pretty quick single player experience.

Alright, actually playing the game. This game is, as I am happy to say, still fun to play. I love the jungle as the first few levels, and that ship that crashed that was infected with flood, I liked it. But, I think there's something missing with memorable levels or battles in levels. Like Halo 2 had some pretty memorable battle sequences. For instance, in the second level where you have a little siege on that building. First the elites/grunts, then the flying bugs and jackals, then BOOM! two hunters bust through the door! I liked that. But Halo 3's levels I though felt a bit rushed for me. My least favorite level is Cortana. Which basically has you running, the entire level not trying to kill the flood, but not let it kill you because they just keep coming. I just felt like something was missing in the single player experience.

The ending just felt a bit rushed too. I won't give anything away, but I think they definitely should have spent more time developing the end.

Lastly, multi-player. Multiplayer is fun and awesome. But there are a few things I don't like. They got rid of the old maps like blood gulch and sidewinder. I loved those old maps! And quite a few other maps from halo 2 aren't on there either! There are a lot of new maps too though, but it just doesn't feel the same for me. But it's not that bad I guess. I absolutely love the fact there's theater and you can go back and watch a lot of your latest online battles.

So here you have it: In a nutshell, Halo 3 I think felt a bit rushed, and not exactly what I had hoped it to be. It's still a good game but it's not the amazing ending I thought it would be. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it.

I'm sure a lot of you die-hard halo fans might badger me for writing this review, but hey, this is how I feel about it. You feel different? Message me, I want to see what you think. Thanks for reading this.

7.5/10
During the course of the story and in the announcement trailer, Chief recieves broadcasts from Cortana while she's under the influence of the Gravemind, which led many fans to think the AI was corrupted or rampant. However, these versions of Cortana are copies and damaged files. Cortana herself is not evil. Official press release shows Halo 3 to have earned over $170 million, becoming the biggest single-day sales event in entertainment history, until the release of Grand Theft Auto 4.

http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2007/09/26/it-s-official-quot-halo-3-quot-registers-biggest-day-in-us-entertainment-history.aspx It is very possible. While Bungie did leave Microsoft, Microsoft owns the rights to the Halo name and universe, so there will never be a Halo game on any other system. However, Bungie still retains the rights for their Marathon franchise (the precursor and story basis for Halo), and it seems likely that they will do a Marathon remake at some point in time. They did say that little will actually change and they still plan to work almost exclusively with Microsoft and their consoles, but being independent means they they will not only see a bigger share of the return on sales, but they will be free to work on whatever they wish and are not obliged to continue the Halo franchise. But there is talks of a new Halo project. This new Halo project is going to be a new trilogy and Peter Jackson will do some of the work on it, supposedly. As for Halo 4, the story did end with Master Chief lost in space. So there may be another Halo game leaving off with this one. Only time can tell now what Bungie will do.

It is worth noting that since Microsoft does own the Halo name and story, they could have another developer make a new Halo game, much like Bioware and Obsidian did with the two Knights Of The Old Republic and Neverwinter Nights games.

Halo Reach will be a prequel to Halo (2001). After Halo Reach, the Halo series will be over.

The above statement is no longer the case. The series is now being taken over by 343 Industries. At the E3 convention, they officially announced Halo 4. A page on Xbox.com has been set up.

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Marketplace/Product/Halo-4 No. Stay after the credits(without pressing ANY buttons at all) and you'll see Master Chief and Cortana lost in space. a5c7b9f00b First Encounter downloadMayday full movie torrentCaptain Cold movie free download hdThe Monster Squad tamil dubbed movie downloadSalvator 720p moviesThe Laramie Trail full movie with english subtitles online downloadWho Killed Nelson Nutmeg full movie torrentmalayalam movie download Death WishCode Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion full movie download 1080p hdEpisode 1.139 in tamil pdf download
